With another heating season upon us, Allen's Oil & Propane would like to take this opportunity to keep you informed of any changes that may affect your account. The National Fuel Gas Code requires us to perform a procedure called "a leak test" if any customer runs out of propane for their safety. Should your account be on an Automatic Delivery schedule and you run out of propane, this test will be done at no charge to you. If your account is on Will Call Delivery, please call us at 25% to avoid the following charges. If your account is on Delivery Hold for non payment, please call to make payment arrangements or the following charges will be applied.
***During Regular Business Hours***

Out of Route Leak Test $50.00
and Trip Charge $50.00 = $100
***After Hours Service***
Leak test $100.00
and Trip Charge $100 = $200
It will be necessary that someone is present at the time of delivery and when the leak test is performed to ensure all appliances are in working order. If no one can be present, we will fill your tank, shut it off and tag it. You will need to contact our office in order for us to perform the leak test and restart your appliances. Please do not attempt to turn on your tank or start you own appliances. Damage or injury may occur.
** Allen's Oil & Propane is not responsible for loss of heat or any resulting damages arising from a freeze-up in an occupied/empty or unoccupied dwelling or home. It is the Consumer's responsibility to protect their home against damage arising from a drop in heat and/or freeze-ups. The Consumer should arrange for daily temperature monitoring if he/she plans to be away from the premises for any length of time. Allen's Oil & Propane is not and will not assume the role of Caretaker of the Consumer's home at anytime **
